Who's On Offer

We get lots of e-mails from people who want to appear at the Barrelhouse. Sometimes we get e-mails from people who think we are a venue, such as "Colin somebody's Hypnosis Experience" (don't they read the website?) but many are from established and aspiring bands who are worth hearing. So we thought we would list some of them for your consideration. Let us know what you think of any of them if you are one of our attendees, albeit occasional. We would like to hear from you.

Kris Dollimore, former Del Amitri member a fantastic guitarist, there are so many great videos to choose from.	Brass Knuckle Blues Band based in Hampshire have a seven piece lineup and sound great.
Jay Tamkin This guy is something really special.	King King Highly regarded band featured on Paul Jones.
Mat Woosey A lot of great original songs in varied interesting styles.	Devils Creek Heavier stuff from West Country band, good reviews
Blues Beaten Redshaw Seasick Steve eat your heart out, this lad from Yorkshire rocks. You can also see some clips with various guitars, quite amazing stuff.	Ian Siegal Fantastic guitarist with a voice made for the blues - Check out some of his solo stuff such as "Mary Don't You Weep" - wonderful.
Big Mammas Door Excellent 5 piece from London	Spank The Monkey Also from London - what do you think?
James Litherland Not sure who this band includes but we've been offered a duo with Tony Reeves or a 3 piece plus a drummer of equal quality.	Matt Schofield Another great musician from the same stable as Ian Siegal and Denny Illett and who has been nominated for several awards.
